About
The e-Learning Object is designed for non-Estonian nursing students who need to develop basic skills for conversation with patients in hospital.The aim of the e-Learning Object is to learn Estonian useful in communicating with patients in hospital.
Learning outcomes:
-a student can introduce himself/herself and ask questions about colleagues` home and speciality;
-a student knows terminology related to patients` complaints and can explain what has to be done;
-a student can describe the procedure and give instructions.
Learning methods:
-listening,
-reading,
-filling gaps,
-matching halves of the sentences,
-answering questions,
-finding antonyms,
-matching statements and pictures.

Study guide
To start, select the theme on the menu above and you will see the submenus there. Listen, and repeat the words and expressions. Try to remember them. Read the explanations on grammar structures and try to remember them, too.
Pay attention to the dialogues, because you will learn the words and expressions through them. Follow the instructions for each task and do the exercises helping you to remember terminology. Check your answers to make sure that they are correct.
